Application
The Frost Foundation now exclusively accepts online applications.
We only fund organizations that qualify as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, organizations fiscally sponsored by a qualified 501(c)(3), or government and tribal entities. If your organization does not meet one of these criteria, you are not eligible for funding.
We have two annual deadlines for Letters of Intent (LOIs): June 1 (Mid-Year Cycle) and December 1 (End-of-Year Cycle).
The Board of Directors meets twice a year — once in the spring and once in the fall — to review full applications and make funding decisions.
Please refer to the Grant Cycle Information below for the full schedule of application deadlines and review periods.

Our Funding Philosophy
The Frost Foundation is committed to fostering long-term impact through strategic giving. To support a diverse range of organizations and encourage self-reliance among our partners, we provide funding on an alternating-year basis. Additionally, after several funding cycles, organizations may experience a longer break before becoming eligible again. This approach allows us to expand our reach while empowering grantees to build sustainable funding strategies.
