Guidelines
Grant Guidelines
We exclusively support organizations that qualify as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, organizations fiscally sponsored by a qualified 501(c)(3), or government and tribal entities. If your organization does not meet one of these criteria, you are not eligible for funding.
The Frost Foundation provides funding to nonprofit organizations in New Mexico and Louisiana that promote positive, lasting change through innovative programs and services. Our grants support organizations addressing critical human rights, education, animal welfare, and the environment.
We prioritize funding for:
Programs that demonstrate creativity, innovation, and self-reliance.
Pioneering organizations and initiatives that can serve as models for other communities.
Projects that address urgent, emerging needs with the potential for broad community impact.
Efforts to reduce duplication of services through collaborations and partnerships.
General operating support for exemplary organizations that align with our mission.
The Frost Foundation accepts applications from 501(c)(3) organizations in New Mexico and Louisiana. We do not fund individuals, endowments, or political activities.
