The Frost Foundation
"We must learn and teach tolerance and respect for
others. We must relish the diversity and cherish what
each individual has to offer."
Mary Amelia Whited-Howell
Welcome
The Frost Foundation was established on March 19, 1959, in Louisiana as a family foundation. It was named in honor of Edwin Ambrose Frost and Virginia Chapelle Frost. While we originally focused on educational, charitable, and religious purposes, we have expanded our mission to include environmental issues, climate change, animal welfare, public health, and social justice in Louisiana and New Mexico.
The Foundation possesses all powers, rights, privileges, capacities, and immunities which non-profit corporations are authorized to possess under the Constitution and Laws of Louisiana, and particularly under Title 12, Section 101 et seq., Louisiana Revised Statutes, and has been authorized to operate in New Mexico as a foreign corporation with the name of The Frost Foundation, Ltd.
