New Vistas Early Childhood Program
Santa Fe, New Mexico / $10,000
Providing stable, responsive, nurturing relationships to overcome developmental compromises and delays in the earliest years of life can prevent or reverse the damaging effects of early life stress. New Mexico is currently one of the worst states for adverse childhood events compromising child development. New Vistas provides early intervention services to infants and toddlers who have developmental compromises or delays while addressing the special needs within the relational context of their families. New Vistas maintains an outcome-based measurement system to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of its services.

Outside In
Santa Fe, New Mexico / $15,000
Outside In Productions provides musical performances and presentations to New Mexicans confined to shelters, residential treatment facilities, nursing homes, correctional facilities, and other institutions where people would not have access to the arts. The Bandstand Southside Series at SWAN Park brings free live music performances to Santa Fe's vastly underserved Southside community. Our goal is to ease the isolation commonly found in contemporary community life. We present music that sparks memories, provides sonic touchstones, and helps people feel more connected to Santa Fe.

Searchlight New Mexico
Santa Fe, New Mexico / $15,000
As a nonprofit investigative news organization focused on child well-being, our mission is to help change. As a purpose-driven newsroom, our goal is to shine a light on the condition of New Mexican children and families. In so doing, we pave the way for real change in how our state treats its children. We write comprehensively and in depth about child well-being, and distribute our stories free to all media platforms throughout New Mexico, including Spanish speakers and Navajo publications.

The SKY Center/New Mexico Suicide Intervention Project, Inc.
Santa Fe, New Mexico / $15,000
Many of the youth we see have experienced substantial trauma and toxic stress in their young lives. Our AWARE (Accessible Wellness and Resilience Enhancement), program is a carefully integrated combination of care strategies that address complex, high risk behaviors throughout an entire school system rather than a smattering of uncoordinated and fragmented programming offered during a school crisis. The program uniquely incorporates awareness and resiliency building practices into the entire organizational structure to increase student success and promote a safe and secure school climate.
